"Mandala Workshop"

This workshop is a perfect way to develop a thorough understanding of the Draw-Sew-Trim applique process and get inspired.

I instruct four different designs step by step showing you all the little tricks and tips of the technique that saves you a lot of time and effort with any of your future applique projects.

There are 4-5 hours of video footage in this Facebook group and there are more videos coming showing you more details of the creation of these mandalas.

If you have any questions please ask in the comments and I get back to you as soon as possible. If there is a question that is better demonstrated than described in words, I am happy to record new videos within the group.

So it is an ever-growing live group that gives you the opportunity to chat with the members and share your progress and thoughts with us.

Purchasing the workshop you can choose one of the designs that you will get written instructions and pattern for, in .pdf format via email. Of course, you are very welcome to create all four mandalas, you just need to buy the patterns separately in the webshop.

Video contents:

Introduction to the patterns, enlargement, preparations, and fabric selection. (Kits are available in the webshop.) Demonstration of the basics of the Draw-Sew-Trim method on all four designs.
I show you how to master your satin stitches, how to do curves and points.
I show you some free motion quilting ideas to use with your mandalas, get inspired, and carried away with the joy of drawing beautiful designs with your needle and thread.
I show you how I embellish my mandalas with beads and sequins to give them some flair and sparkle.

Moon Mandala Pillow
